June Happenings

I guess June was a bit of a hiatus for me. It zoomed by as summer months tend to do, but not with out new adventures!

The Passport Collection is a unique series of boldly scaled designs hand printed by artisans on a selection of handcrafted Manila Hemp, Linen, Japanese Paper Weave, Jute and Sateen Club wallcoverings, for an innovative play on pattern and texture. From classic to contemporary, this graphic and chic collection explores the world to bring a modern interpretation to design classics. Combined with a sophisticated palette ranging from bold colors and classic neutrals to innovative metallic inks, The Passport Collection creates a stunning statement for the walls.
I am working with a new client and there are several fun things cooking. One is this fabulous Phillip Jeffries wall covering that will go in the powder room. Funky, right?

Nate Berkus has a new fabric collection carried at Fabricut and Calico Corners. It's a true reflection of his eclectic style and global feel.

Little Details

I'm addicted to little bowls and vessels. They certainly aren't necessities, but they make a space feel cozy and loved. Where could these bits live? Let me tell you my favorite places. Next to the sink, on a night stand, on your desk, in a drawer to organize your bathroom items {hair bands, lip gloss, etc} or in your desk drawer to organize supplies {paper clips, rubber bands, push pins, keys etc.} or in a bathroom to hold matches....I could go on and on. Point is, I don't think I'll ever stop loving these things - they really make me happy. Every now and then you just can't pass one up and something new is added to your collection.

LC's Home

LC as in Lauren Conrad if you weren't a huge fan of Laguna Beach and The Hills.  She just bought a gorgeous gem of a home in Brentwood, CA and it is such a beautiful space to work with. I am assuming these pictures are from the previous owners decor and can't wait to see what she does with it.
