There are certain patterns you can't shake and this sail boat themed wall covering/fabric by Katie Ridder {here} is one of them. It's playful, unique in color set and memorable all together. I'd love to use it one day.

Happy Hallways

There is a little hallway in my house that needs some love. I could paint it and knock it out one day {before Pat gets home from work} but really I'd love to wallpaper. My thought is something bright and punchy.

Let's study up on hallways that make a lasting impression...

June Happenings

I guess June was a bit of a hiatus for me. It zoomed by as summer months tend to do, but not with out new adventures!

The Passport Collection is a unique series of boldly scaled designs hand printed by artisans on a selection of handcrafted Manila Hemp, Linen, Japanese Paper Weave, Jute and Sateen Club wallcoverings, for an innovative play on pattern and texture. From classic to contemporary, this graphic and chic collection explores the world to bring a modern interpretation to design classics. Combined with a sophisticated palette ranging from bold colors and classic neutrals to innovative metallic inks, The Passport Collection creates a stunning statement for the walls.
I am working with a new client and there are several fun things cooking. One is this fabulous Phillip Jeffries wall covering that will go in the powder room. Funky, right?

Nate Berkus has a new fabric collection carried at Fabricut and Calico Corners. It's a true reflection of his eclectic style and global feel.

Also, we spent a week at the beach and it was a great time. Jake really embraced the new scenery!

Eye Candy for your Walls

Galbraith & Paul has a great selection of wall paper - it's whimsical, unqiue and has the best colorways. I could live with any of these!

Weekly Snapshots

A look in to my week....
Yeah for Friday and weekend fun!

It's green! I finally decided on my dining room walls - a grass cloth in a grass green. I'm so happy with the turn out! That mirror will be hung soon and it pops so nicely off the green walls.

I've tweaked my kitchen eating area - finally covered the chair seats with a fun navy geometric and put up window treatments {which I loooove!}. They make the space so much cozier.

My big boy. Jake is almost 7 months old and sitting up now...where does the time go?

To stencil or not to stencil...

I'm really dragging my feet on what to do with my dining room walls. Originally I wanted to do a wall covering, but even though I'm loving several different patterns, I can't find the perfect color green I have in mind. Now I'm thinking about using a wall decal to stencil.

The color I'm going for - kelly green, grass green, preppy green - whatever you call it, here it is:
