If I could design an Inn....

...I would love it to look like this! A darling place to stay on the Island of Nantucket, 76 Main {here} more then welcomes you with loads of color and style. Designed by Rachel Reider, this darling spot is vibrant and has a young fresh feel to it. I adore the use of pattern and texture. Lots to love here. I'm a tiny bit obsessed actually....

Nantucket Treasure

While adventuring in Nantucket over the weekend, I was delighted to come across a new home shop, Store No. 2. When I spotted the store sign, I knew it'd be promising inside and it certainly was. Lots of colorful patterned upholstery in some of my favorite textile lines {Quadrille, China Seas} fun accessories and unique wall art. Lots to be had, take a look -- better yet, go visit!

Great mirror!

Wouldn't this chair make a room cheery?

I was giddy over these charming little tables {by Oomph}

Adorable.

Veranda House

For so many reasons I'm easily charmed by the island of Nantucket. The weathered shingles, endless hydrangeas and flower boxes on each cottage are beyond enchanting.

I'm leaving Wednesday to spend the long weekend there and was thrilled to see the inside of the Veranda House, where we'll be staying. It's recent face lift from designer Rachel Reider is {in her words} "a departure from traditional Nantucket style"...I look forward to embracing this modern bed and breakfast.

What a whimsical breakfast room -- or should I say whimsical wall covering?

The sunburst mirror makes this space.
