Growing Options for Kid Furniture

I'm continuously impressed with the selection of furniture for children's rooms. It's more and more creative, sophisticated and makes me excited to eventually {no trying to rush!} doing a bedroom for Jake.

Monday Inspiration

This is a one stop shop - bedroom, living room and office all in one. With a little something for every one: a touch traditional, part eclectic and edgy too.

Peaceful and serene, just what a bedroom should be.

Spaces to Love

I've missed my blogging, but since time is not my own at the moment and my brain is functioning on less sleep, it's harder to gather my thoughts to create a thoughtful post. So I kept it simple and have collected a few easy, breezy spaces...that after looking at all at once, could probably live together in the same house. They are soft but still colorful, with just enough style.

Bedroom Love

I am loving orange these days and this tone has just enough punch, with a soothing and soft appeal, perfect for a bedroom. Simple and chic accessorizing really finishes off this space.

This has always been a favorite image of mine...it's a simple color set, with fine attention to detail. Just love love love this.

I love the color scheme in this bedroom. All the shades of blue work together and the beachy feel and classic touches make it livable and soothing {all the things a bedroom should be}.

A Subtle Bold

Do you ever feel like it's hard to explain your style? When I'm asked that I have a hard time narrowing down my words...casual yet refined, colorful but not over the top, preppy yet elegant - it's a toss up. So when I saw this bedroom, I thought to myself, "what a nice subtle bold" - perhaps a way to describe my desired look. Punches of color with soft neutrals, definitive lines and understated textured pieces...

How do you describe your style?

Wonder Walls

Sometimes the walls make a room - like here, I can't imagine a coat of paint or other wall covering having the same charming effect on this space. Perfect guestroom decor.

Endless Options with Green

Green is such a friendly color, I can't think of many tones that don't work with it. When I saw this {gorgeous} bed I immediately starting picturing all the options that would work for pillows...or maybe I'm just addicted to bedding and could change mine every month - can you relate?

Summer vacations are approaching for many and this space reminded me of that...much like a bunk bed room, with a sophisticated appeal. Love it.

What a tranquil, inviting space...and the trimmed in black cathedral style window makes it so unique.

Hope you have a quiet moment to digress from the weekend and get organized for another busy week!
