Around the House

There are finally a few finished areas in my house - it seems that decorating and furnishing is never ending, always a work in progress. As I was loading pictures from my camera of these spaces to blog about, I noticed the pictures I took from the first day we signed our contract for the house and I love to see the before and after.

 

Here is the eating area off the kitchen before we moved in:

I love the chair seat fabric and how the head chairs are different then the side chairs.

I'm not usually one for pink, but this is such a great space with pretty touches of pattern and texture. I especially love the light fixture, so unique.

Monday Inspiration

These chairs are so out of the box - look at the detailed upholstery! And what a perfect green. Yum!

 

Diggin' This

I've always been a fan of artist Nancy Ramirez of Cozamia. Her work is vibrant and a bit funky with lots of color. I just noticed this new print and love it. Where could I put this? I think I need it.

Anchors Make me Happy

What is it about anchors? For some reason they make me happy. They are a symbol of summer time and being by the water, usually the color blue and in a way they seem patriotic.

 

They are every where and I love it.
