I'm excited to say that our nursery is finished and ready to go...just anxious to fill it with our little one now!
My inspiration for the nursery started with a fabric - which is how most of my spaces I create begin. It was a more sophisticated look, but the color combination caught my eye, so I knew it was a great starting point and unique for a gender neutral space. I only wanted to use it in a small amount, so it really isn't a feature fabric in the room, but I love it. Turned out to be the pillow on the rocker.

From there I decided on grey walls, with pops of yellow and orange. I also had my eye on these darling water color prints from Etsy - they are sweet natured, soft and exactly what I was looking for. Since I'm an animal lover, I was tickled that the prints worked so well with the rest of the scheme.
I was determined to take down the ceiling fan and thrilled to find the simple scallop pendant (sources below) which I think has a nice elegant touch to a playful space. Everything else I found along the way - over all, I'm in love with this room!
My camera work isn't great, but I excited to share the finished space and now anxiously awaiting on baby Castle...I will keep you posted!
