Fall Friday

We are in the peak of fall and I love it. Paths are covered in leaves and they fall from the sky like snow. What a great time of year to embrace.

I love these images from Martha Stewart - very festive and organic, they definitely bring to mind all the sites and smells of the season.

Girl Power

I've had fun helping my sister in law with several projects in her home and now I'm excited to focus on a space for her three daughters to hang with their friends. It has to be fun, functional and full of girl power - here is a little idea board I put together for inspiration.



Home Love

Talk about charm. This home featured in House Beautiful is all country, with a transitional feel. The open floor plan, barn beams and cozy furniture are beyond appealing - especially during these fall and winter months. I love that it has a rustic feel, but still exudes elegance. Designer Kathleen Rivers easily put a modern touch on these mountain home and it's quite inviting if you ask me.

Notice the panels in the doorway - a little umph for the entry. Love it.

Monday Inspiration

I love the color scheme in this bedroom. All the shades of blue work together and the beachy feel and classic touches make it livable and soothing {all the things a bedroom should be}.

Etsy Love

I often think what makes furnishings so unique, are the details. Nail heads, trim, piping, etc. So I was thrilled to come across this Etsy Shop Slightly Biased that sells bias tape. Options are endless, I immediately think of pillows and furniture. So fun, have a looky.

 

Sucker for Stripes

I will never get sick of stripes. They are classic, fresh and punchy. Also, they work everywhere and anywhere - walls, floors, upholstery, you name it. It's a win-win with stripes.
