A Treasured Reflection

My brother and sister in law gave Pat and I a wedding gift we will truly treasure. An antiqued mirror that has the perfect shape and most beautiful disposition...we can't wait to find a special place for it. Right now it's in our guestroom/office and I love imagining what hallway or room it will soon grace...

The Martyn Lawrence Bullard Collection is brand new to Schumacher and I'm dying to go check it out. Very bold, textured and authentic {just like Martyn}.

If you aren't familiar with Martyn, he is an internationally known designer who was recently on the show Million Dollar Decoraters. Let's admire just a few of his incredible spaces...

I'm all about the energy of this space, especially the seating. I'm not sure I'm a slipcover person, but these chairs are starting to convince me otherwise.

Long Weekends = Good times

Long {holiday} weekends are the best. Especially when they involve nice weather + fun company + tasty food/drinks. Good times to be had by all!

On another note, my plans for next week are no fun. I'm scheduled to get my wisdom teeth out and not looking forward to it one bit. Needless to say, next week will be quiet on my end...so enjoy your long weekend and I will be back soon. Wish me luck!

Depends on the Mood

Some days I wake up and crave bright colors and punchy patterns...other days a clean, neutral palette seems totally appealing. Must be a mood thing.
